While this is a pretty basic place, I've paid twice the price for the same or less in less expensive areas. The bed was fantastic, the staff very friendly, FREE parking in San Francisco?? Unheard of. Very quiet, room was spacious, no odor. About 2 blocks from the beach, you could see the ocean from the room. I'd stay there...

My husband and I loved this little place. We had a room with a king bed over looking Sloat Ave. I could see the trees of the zoo and also see the ocean. I heard no noise from the traffic. Wonderful place to stay if your going to the zoo or just want to be out of the city a bit. Room was clean and breakfast was just coffee and a cinnamon roll. Would definitely stay again

The check-in process process was very easy. The staff was attentive and nice. Minutes to the beach and can be reached by public transportation from the airport if needed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location is great, next to the zoo and near Ocean beach. Pasquale's pizza next door is awesome takeout.

I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the rooms were appointed. It wasn't posh, but it was definitely a step above what I usually see in similar chain motels. I also appreciated that the cleaning crew was friendly and took their jobs very seriously.
